This Doesn't really count as an update for two reasons. One is that it is only pictures and captions. No, you are not on Pinterest. And the second reason this is a cheat is that I wasn't there. So this post is Dedicated to my niece, who had joined me last month (See the original October review below, "Bestia? Best Yeah!") and went back last week with a friend (Are Dining obsessions genetic Diseases?). As an ardent and loyal supporter of her Aunt Ilene Wendy, she took these photos as the Dishes and Drinks were Dropped at her table. She then sent them to me with full Descriptions. This is my love letter to her. Jul, you're the best. I mean the best, yeah!

Jul, you aced your first co-author credit. These photos are worth thousands of words and at least another hundred Dining Dollars since surely I have to go back yet again. Thanks, no really, thanks. xo
If having to go to Bestia for a second round of delicious dining means being referred to as a co-author and the Best-yeah!.....well count me in! Did you also say that it would really help out your blog if I went to Gusto again? ..... Try Providence and BierBeisl, and go to Bestia for a third time?? Ok fine; FINE!! I will do it!
ReplyDeleteHappy eating everyone :)
And PS: Yes, Dining obsessions are absolutely inherited genetic diseases. One that I will not be discovering a cure for anytime soon....
LOL! :) Only cures for dining obsessions are bad food or bullying personal trainers. I avoid bad food if possible and work out at home alone! Stay tuned and stay hungry! You're awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have words for the amount of envy I'm feeling looking at those pictures--- just drool. Oh, no... I really am starting to look like my toddler.
ReplyDeleteHowe and I did sneak out last Thursday (school night!) for the Lobster Roll Rumble at the Cooper Design Center downtown. Sponsored in part by Patron and packed with a dozen restaurants (including locals, L&E Oyster, and The Hungry Cat) serving their best lobster roll, it was an event meant for you, Ilene!! We ALL have to go next year!!
Wait - now who's envious?! A lobster roll rumble? Sponsored by Patron? A dozen restaurants? We MUST go. Get next year's date and let's ink it. :)
